What is a dental Implant?  a more natural alternative to replace  a missing tooth ( or teeth).

Implant is a post usually made of Titanium that is surgically inserted into the jaw bone to replace  the root of the natural tooth. After the surgery, there is about 6-10 months healing time , during that time a temporary crown ( cap) is screwed on to the implant so you can still function as normal . After the healing process, a permanent crown (cap) will be fabricated and cemented/screwed to the implant. The process is not painful at all. 

 

 

One hour chair side teeth whitening .

Patient is not very happy about the gap between his top and bottom teeth as well as the wear and dark color presented. 4 of the top front teeth were crowned ( capped) and a direct resin ( White filling material) used to fix the rest of his teeth. We were able to camouflage the dark stain before seating the crown so the darkness doesn't show through the crowns. Another very happy patient !!

Our sweet patient broke his front tooth during the summer and was embarrassed to return to school . We were able to restore his front tooth and he surely had gain his confidence back. YAY!!
